A 20-year-old Roseville woman was seriously injured in a Placer County car accident when her Honda slid on a fuel spill and crashed into another vehicle. According to a KCRA news report, the truck accident occurred on Roseville Road, between Whyte Avenue and Cirby Way, in Roseville, the morning of November 29, 2011. Officials say the Honda drove over the fuel spill before veering into oncoming traffic where it collided head-on with a box truck. The driver of the car was extricated from her vehicle and transported to the hospital with major injuries. The 47-year-old Sacramento man driving the truck was not injured. It is not clear what the source of the fuel spill was or for how long the spill was on the roadway.
