Six people were injured in a Los Angeles car accident after a Montebello city bus and a car collided at an intersection, the Whittier Daily News reports. The car-bus collision occurred at the intersection of Whittier Boulevard and Bluff Road. Five people on the bus sustained injuries as did the driver of the car. Traffic investigators are looking into what caused this accident, Montebello police officials said.

This is apparently the second collision between a Montebello city bus and a passenger car at a city intersection. In July, 14 people were injured, four seriously, after a Montebello Transit bus collided with a van at the intersection of Whittier Boulevard and Concourse Avenue. As with that bus accident, this one also likely happened because one of the drivers did not yield right-of-way at this intersection.
