A man was fatally injured in a San Bernardino pedestrian accident the morning of February 10, 2010 after he was struck by a big-rig, which fled the scene. According to a news report in The Press-Enterprise, the victim was found by neighbors early morning in the 15100 block of Washington Street in Fontana. People noticed the body on the roadway because the victim was carrying a flashlight, which was still on. The deceased victim was described as a Latino man in his 40s dressed in a sweatshirt, shorts and flip-flops. Police said they have not found anyone who saw the accident, but were able to tell based on tire tracks that a big rig was involved.
