Accident Causes

This report does not provide much information about how or why this fatal motorcycle accident occurred. There are still many questions here. Did the motorcycle collide with another vehicle? Did the motorcyclist lose control because he was forced off the roadway? Was there a vehicle defect or a mechanical malfunction in the motorcycle, which caused the man to lose control and crash? Was there a dangerous condition on the freeway that caused this crash? Did the negligence of another driver cause this fatal crash? I trust CHP officials are examining these and other issues in order to determine exactly what occurred here.

Claim for Compensation

In such cases where serious personal injuries or fatalities are involved, it would be in the best interests of victims' families to consult with an experienced Long Beach personal injury lawyer who has successfully handled wrongful death claims. Such claims are usually filed in cases where someone's negligence or wrongdoing has caused a fatality. These claims are filed by the deceased victim's family and seek compensation to cover funeral expenses, lost future earnings, loss of love and companionship, and other damages.

A skilled car accident lawyer will also be able to determine whether a dangerous or defective roadway caused or contributed to this accident. If that was the case, the governmental entity responsible for maintaining that roadway could be held liable as well. Any such claim against a California governmental entity must be filed properly within 180 days of the accident or injury.
