The Personal Injury Lawyer Journal blog is provided as public service by BISNAR|CHASE Personal Injury Attorneys LLP. Our intention is to assist those who do not have ready access to legal representation to have some idea of their rights and options and thereby level the playing field between the "haves" and "have nots."

Many people who have been in serious accidents, as well as their family members and friends, seek information about their accident from the Internet. It is our intention to provide those people with an easy to find source of publicly available accident information combined with some discussion of law. The only legal advice this blog intends to give is, "Get a consultation with a skilled attorney."

It is our hope that this blog will keep people from losing their rights due to lack of information or legal resources. This blog is provided to assist those who do not have ready access to personal injury legal assistance. It not a substitute for consultation with an attorney.

We are regularly consulted by accident victims whose rights to recover rightful compensation have been seriously harmed by the failure to take timely action. It is our intention to prevent our readers from losing their rights by educating them as to what was reported to have happened in particular accidents, what laws may apply, how frequent similar accidents occur, who may be legally at fault, what their rights may be, time limits for taking action and so on.

People who have witnessed accidents and then read our blogs have been helpful in providing information to assist in the determination of what and who caused various accidents as well as tracking down hit and run drivers that caused an accident and then fled the scene.

Our blog has provided a forum for readers to express their well wishes, to share their feelings, to have their say, to share information, to give opinions and to update readers on new developments.

We receive emails thanking us for this service as well as attacking us for providing it. We are not immune to personal attacks by those who disagree with our positions or our methods. However, the hurt of the personal attacks is outweighed by knowing we are providing a valuable service to people in one of their times of greatest need. We would rather suffer the personal attacks than to see accident victims taken advantage of for lack of knowledge or resources.
